    Once on-site, LIBCAN will assess the extent of damage to the property and its contents. We will take necessary steps to ensure the safety of those requiring entry to the area, and to prevent further damage to the property by securing and enclosing the affected area. We assess the extent of structural damage and identify any harmful substances.

  • Smoke Damage Restoration

    To reduce the toxins in the air and corrosion caused by acid in the soot, LIBCAN will quickly employ smoke damage specialists with equipment and products for the neutralization of smoke odour from the air and removal of soot from the damaged area. 

  • Water Damage Restoration

    LIBCAN will implement its water restoration processes in areas of the property which have sustained damage from water used to extinguish the fire. Depending upon the extent of such damage, these processes may include water removal, drying, sanitizing and deodorizing, mould prevention, and mould remediation.

  • Contents Restoration

    Retrieval of contents from a fire event and/or contents which have sustained resulting water damage will be removed and assessed and, if salvageable, cleaned off-site. All retrieved items will be inventoried and are salvaged wherever possible. Cleaning and drying processes and products are used to reduce damage. LIBCAN works with your insurance representative to determine the best options for preserving and restoring contents in accordance with your preferences and always taking into consideration sentimental belongings.
