Sam Abushenaf is the owner and general manager of LIBCAN. Sam has an Engineering and MBA degree from Dalhousie University and multiple industry certifications including from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration*. He has over fifteen years of combined experience in property restoration, renovations, construction and property rentals.

Sam was born in a small village in Libya and relocated on his own to Canada at the age of 17. Sam, his wife and four children live in the Truro area. Sam loves Nova Scotia and truly enjoys the small town, country lifestyle and traveling with his family.

After graduating, Sam started LIBCAN Properties providing property renovation services. LIBCAN Properties has successfully grown into a strong real estate asset with an inventory of property rentals. Sam’s expansion of LIBCAN into property restoration services has been successful and rewarding. LIBCAN Restoration has earned the trust of home and business owners and insurance professionals throughout Nova Scotia.

Sam is hands on in all his business ventures. He has built a great resource team comprised of all the necessary construction trades providing excellent quality control, great service and lower costs for customers. LIBCAN’s operations are supported by full-time support staff comprised of project managers, carpenters, general labourers, restoration technicians and office administrators.
